Within the central Union County, N.J., borough of Kenilworth, NAI DiLeo-Bram & Co. (NAIDB) recently recorded a new retail lease transaction for Planet Dance at 600 Blvd. The family-owned dance studio, which was established in 2002, is taking 3,000 square feet.
According to NAIDB Associate Vice President Kelly Bayer, who secured the lease, the neighborhood retail center features ample on-site parking, excellent visibility and two garage-style windows that open to offer maximum air flow – all of which appeal to the tenant’s clientele. Nearby lifestyle services include Kenilworth Diner, Acme, PNC Bank, Dunkin and Wells Fargo Bank.
In addition, NAIDB’s Vice President Richard Goski and Associate Vice President Catherine Goski-Vasquez exclusively represented the owner, Alloy Cast Products, in the $3.4 million sale of 700 Swenson Dr. in Kenilworth. The 12,607-square-foot manufacturing building occupies approximately one acre of land. Sheet Metal Works Local Union 22 acquired the property.
“Kenilworth’s access to major road networks has attracted a wide range of local, regional and national industries, all of whom draw from the area’s highly skilled workforce and make it a desired location for retail and industrial tenants,” said David Simon, NAIDB’s chief operating officer.
