DSW Inc. has signed for 15,000 square feet in the 75,00-square-foot Lincoln & Rose Shopping Center located at 201 Lincoln Blvd. in Venice, California.
Stephanie Skrbin and Lea Clay Park of Axiom Retail Advisors, along with Managing Director Bryan Norcott at Newmark, represented the landlord, Combined Properties. Nadia Gilmore, senior vice president of leasing at Combined Properties, negotiated the lease transaction on behalf of the landlord. Details of the lease agreement were not disclosed.
The tenant will be occupying what had a 99 Cents Only space in the Whole Foods-anchored shopping center. Tom Gyulay of Sage Retail Group represented DSW.
“DSW was looking for a long-term home in the Venice area where they can re-invest and continue to support their loyal customer base,” Park said. “The new location, adjacent to an incredibly successful Whole Foods, was a great fit.”
The Axiom team was able to leverage their manpower and intimate knowledge of the surrounding area to create a competitive process through which all viable prospects were vetted and brought to the table as quickly as possible.
