Japanese variety retailer Daiso is expanding with a lease in Northdale Promenade in Tampa, Florida, announced Katz & Associates. The store, which aims to create a fun shopping experience with unique products, is slated to open in Q1 2025, likely making it the first Daiso to open in Florida. Katz’s David Eggnatz represented Daiso, and Brian Hector of Kite Realty represented landlord Kite Realty in the deal.
“We are excited to be working with a strong company that is thorough in their expansion goals throughout Florida with a great outlook on future growth,” shared Eggnatz, a Katz & Associates vice president. “This new store is strategically located in a strong center and top-tier market within the Tampa MSA.”
Daiso is seeking additional sites throughout Florida of 7,000 square feet to 12,000 square feet.
