MetroList, Northern California’s largest multiple listing service (MLS), launched a new artificial intelligence (AI) integration with Restb.ai through the Rapattoni MLS platform, delivering advanced automation tools that simplify listing input and enhance digital accessibility for its more than 20,000 subscribers.
This new deployment gives MetroList users access to Restb.ai-powered features designed to save time, improve listing quality and create new search experiences: AI-generated alt-text for property photos, photo-driven autofill for property listings and AI Picture Search.

Using computer vision technology, Restb.ai integration automatically scans every image uploaded to the MLS, creating editable image descriptions that support screen readers, strengthen ADA and WCAG compliance and improve search engine visibility. These image captions are also shared with third-party syndication partners, expanding listing reach and supporting visually impaired users.

Advanced AI Picture search, powered by Restb.ai, allows home buyers to search for listings using photos, making it easier to find properties with similar features or architectural styles. This new computer vision technology, powered by AI, analyzes images to return visually similar listings, offering an alternative to traditional keyword or filter-based searches.
Additionally, Restb.ai’s Listing Input Auto-Pop identifies over 370 RESO-compliant features about a home that autofill corresponding listing fields. This reduces manual data entry, minimizes errors and enables faster, more accurate listing creation.
