Simon Helps Mango Accelerate U.S. Expansion with Stores in NY, NJ, FL

Roosevelt Field

Simon has announced a collaboration with Mango and its U.S. expansion strategy, with new stores to open in the first quarter at three properties. The mall developer, which in recent years has been working closely with, and investing in retailers, is working with Mango to open three stores in the first quarter at Roosevelt Field in Garden City, New York; Menlo Park Mall in Edison, New Jersey and Dadeland Mall in Miami, Florida. These centers were strategically selected in the United States to jumpstart the expansion of Mango’s Mediterranean brand to the American consumer.

“Mango has been focused on enhancing brand recognition in the United States with investments in wholesale and e-commerce distribution,” said Daniel López, Mango’s director of expansion and franchises. “The next logical step is acceleration of our physical presence, which will materialize with our Simon openings.”

Mango has had a consistent presence in the U.S. since 2006. In 2017, it debuted a major renovation of its Broadway Soho store, and in 2019 began selling in select Macy’s flagship stores and direct-to-consumer e-commerce launch.
