Investment sales and capital advisory brokerage B6 Real Estate Advisors has appointed Alex Woodlief director of investment sales covering Midtown South, from Hudson Yards to NoMad.
Woodlief, who has been involved in the underwriting, sale and capital raising for over $3 billion of New York City real estate, joins B6 from Kaufman Investments, the institutional acquisition arm of the Kaufman Organization. At Kaufman, Woodlief was responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities primarily in Midtown South, managing existing relationships and business development initiatives. Prior to joining Kaufman, he was an associate in the capital markets group of Cushman & Wakefield, where he focused on middle-market investment sale transactions in Manhattan
“Alex is a talented, disciplined and ambitious professional who is at the forefront of the Midtown South market,” said Paul Massey, founder and CEO of B6 Real Estate Advisors. “We’re excited to have Alex back at our new technology-forward platform, where he will continue to excel and be a strong asset in our continued growth and disruption of the investment sales market.”
Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, Woodlief raised capital for real estate credit and equity strategies for REIT sponsor American Realty Capital. He also served as Asset Manager for SigEp National Housing, a boutique owner/operator and lender specializing in student housing assets nationwide. He graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in political science, public policy and administration.
