My Eyelab, an optical retailer offering accessible and affordable eye care and eyewear, opened its newest location in Plantation, Florida on December 31. Located at 12233 West Sunrise Boulevard (not far from Sawgrass Mills), the new store marks My Eyelab’s 98th location overall.
Under the leadership of founder and CEO Daniel Stanton, My Eyelab is a retail brand of Now Optics, which also includes Stanton Optical. My Eyelab has led the optical industry in ocular telehealth by leveraging proprietary innovative software technology to provide patients with affordable eye exams and frame designs. Tapping into its remote network of available doctors, to date the company has conducted more than 1 million telehealth eye exams, something no other optical retailer can offer. On top of that, an assortment of over 2,000 frames to fit both style and budgets allows consumers the ultimate freedom to experiment with unique, stylish designs that fit their personal style. For convenience, My Eyelab accepts both same day appointments and walk-ins for eye exams.
Growth in the Plantation area is being driven by entrepreneurs Fozan Siddiqu and Imtiaz Ahmad, who are opening their second My Eyelab franchise store; their first is in Pompano Beach, Florida.
“Opening a My Eyelab store in Plantation is an honor, because we are able to serve our community,” said Siddiqu. “The Fort Lauderdale region is home to many My Eyelab locations, and we’re excited to continue the company’s growth here, as well as build and strengthen relationships with the people in the Plantation area.”
