New Balance just launched its first capsule collection with medical apparel company Figs to bring functional and fashionable footwear to the healthcare community.
This is the first footwear collaboration for Figs and New Balance’s first foray into modern medical apparel design. Launching with two styles for women and one for men, the FIGS x New Balance collection focuses on lightweight and durable performance features that meet the unique demands of medical professionals, residents and students.

The FIGS x New Balance 996 will be offered for men and women in black and grey and an additional Navy colorway for women. The 996 features unique styling details, co-branding, a signature yellow dash at the front sole and outsole center stripe and C-CAP technology. The 574S, a performance-focused shoe is available for women in two colorways, includes reflective details, bright pops of color, water-resistant aspects and innovative Fresh Foam midsoles for increased support.
