Fisher Brothers announced three lease signings totaling 45,824 square feet at 605 Third Avenue, a 1.1 million square foot, Class-A office tower in Midtown Manhattan.

Valerie Wilson Travel, a travel consulting firm with 15 offices across the U.S., signed a new 10-year lease to occupy 25,258 square feet across the entire 19th floor and a portion of the 24th floor. Meridiam, a world leader in long-term private investment in public infrastructure, signed a new 10-year, 11,823-square-foot lease to occupy a portion of the 36th floor.

Orangetheory Fitness, one of the world’s fastest growing fitness franchises, signed a 10-year, 5,761-square-foot lease to occupy retail space on the ground and concourse levels.  The new fitness studio is slated to open next year.

Since completing a $25 million capital improvement program in 2016, Fisher Brothers has successfully completed 261,000 square feet of new office leases and renewals, as well as another 10,000 square foot of ground floor retail, at 605 Third Avenue.

The centerpiece of Fisher Brothers’ reimagining of 605 Third Avenue was the creation of a brand new building entrance and lobby, designed by award-winning architect David Rockwell and the Rockwell Group. The entrance of the building was extended out onto the plaza which allowed it to create a more spacious and inviting lobby, including a custom-designed, circular reception desk, a feature wall composed of brass panels and a sleek white ceiling with LED backlighting.

“605 Third Avenue continues to attract a wide range of companies that are drawn to its great Midtown location and unique blend of corporate and cutting edge features as embodied by the renovation.  We are pleased to welcome Valerie Wilson Travel to our esteemed tenant roster,” said Fisher Brothers Partner Ken Fisher.

Located between 39th and 40th Streets and in close proximity to Grand Central Terminal and the United Nations, 605 Third Avenue’s prestigious roster of tenants includes Univision, AECOM, Davidoff Hutcher & Citron LLP, Jones Day, Katsy Korins LLP, and the United Nations Population Fund.

Valerie Wilson Travel was represented by Joseph Grotto of Cushman & Wakefield.  Meridiam was represented by David Dusek of JLL.  Orangetheory Fitness was represented by Schuckman Realty.

Fisher Brothers was represented in-house by Marc Packman and Clark Briffel, as well as Bruce Mosler, Louis D’Avanzo, Andrew Ross, Michael Baraldi, and Maria Travlos of Cushman & Wakefield, on all three transactions.
