PrintWithMe and CA Ventures Ink National Deal for 2019 Student Housing and Conventional Assets

PrintWithMe, the Chicago-based technology company bringing convenient mobile-friendly printing to consumers nationwide, announced today that they’ve entered into a national agreement with CA Ventures, LLC., one of the U.S.’s fastest-growing student and multifamily housing companies.

The terms of the deal include PrintWithMe outfitting all of CA’s new developments in 2019, as well as a planned rollout to pre-existing properties over time. The announcement comes after a successful pilot of PrintWithMe’s solution over the past year.

“We spend a lot of time evaluating the intersection of amenities and technology and how the two combined can enhance our residents’ living experiences,” said Mark Zikra, vice president of technology for CA Ventures. “PrintWithMe was one of those that we saw the value in right away.”

In recent months, PrintWithMe has expanded its features to double down on resident convenience, including the ability to print directly from its iPhone app, print from a Chrome extension and release documents securely. It’s also expanded its customer support hours to 7 days per week, each with longer coverage windows for direct support.

“It’s a bit of a double feature for us, it simplifies the infrastructure requirements for our printer solutions and provides an incredibly easy-to-use platform for our residents,” Zikra added.

CA Ventures is well-known in the student, multifamily housing markets, both of which continue to see high resident print demand. PrintWithMe’s founder and CEO, Jonathan Treble, said its solution is custom-made for the unique challenges of multifamily and that they offer the first and only “full-service,” end-to-end solution for multifamily.

“CA Ventures is a perfect match for us philosophically. CA cares deeply about the resident experience, and they take the time to audit and review their amenities thoughtfully,” said Treble. “Our faster, mobile print experience, combined with industry-leading features and support, ensure residents have a seamless print experience every time they go to use it. CA was uniquely willing to dive into details and understand that issues pile up with less sophisticated print solutions that are not designed for multifamily.”
