Integrated marketing agency Ingenuity has named commercial real estate (CRE) industry and marketing veteran Angela Sweeney as executive director of Pylot, a marketing technology solution that allows multi-location businesses to launch and manage their digital presence across multiple locations, brands and websites. Sweeney joins Ingenuity from Peterson Companies, where she most recently served as chief marketing officer.
“I’ve had the privilege of working with Angela for more than a decade, and am thrilled to welcome her to the fold,” said Corbett Guest, president of Imaginuity. “Angela’s input as a client of Pylot’s precursor, Imaginuity Centers, helped inform Pylot’s development. Further, her expertise in integrated marketing for real estate developers uniquely qualifies her to lead increasing Pylot’s market share in the CRE industry.”
At Peterson, Sweeney provided strategic marketing and communications support across a variety of real estate verticals including retail, multi-family residential, Class A office, self-storage and industrial developments. Before joining Peterson in 2011, she was Vice President of Marketing for Madison Marquette, where she developed portfolio-wide marketing initiatives for a diverse retail portfolio including regional malls, open-air lifestyle centers and ground-up developments. She has held marketing leadership roles at The Mills Corporation, The Rouse Company and Urban Retail Properties.
Already live with both Jones Lang LaSalle and Property Management Inc., Pylot substantially reduces the time and cost required for companies to launch individualized brand sites, freeing valuable marketing resources for other efforts. Pylot unifies marketing efforts by integrating marketing automation, analytics and customer relationship management (CRM) system APIs, resulting in greatly enhanced efficiency and performance. Additionally, Imaginuity’s 24/7 in-house Pylot customer support team diligently monitors ever-changing search algorithms to help Pylot users maintain search engine marketing visibility.
Sweeney earned a master’s degree in organizational management from the University of Phoenix, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Towson University.
