Architecture, design and strategy firm Nelson Worldwide has named Loren Nelson as vice president, market leader and national leader of multifamily sales. Based out of Los Angeles, the seasoned business development and sales professional will establish Nelson’s presence both on the West Coast and nationally as an expert in multifamily and residential market sectors, the firm said. He will leverage his connections to support community development goals.

Loren Nelson will cultivate new business opportunities throughout the nation by networking and presenting firm capabilities to prospective clients in his new role. With a focus on multifamily sales, he will also tap into operations and entrepreneurship to broaden the firm’s project portfolio. Residential typologies on his radar include multifamily housing, affordable housing, student housing, market-rate housing, and senior living.
Most recently, Loren Nelson held a position as vice president of AVM Industries, where he grew their overall business more than 500% in six years, and established new business in every major market in the U.S.
