EP Engineering, a full-service mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering firm, has promoted Chris Burgess to senior partner. Burgess has gained extensive experience in mechanical engineering throughout his career and his work at EP Engineering has contributed greatly to the completion of numerous projects throughout New York and New Jersey, the firm said.
Burgess, a graduate of the Stevens Institute of Technology, joined EP Engineering in 2008 as a project mechanical engineer. He has led and designed several projects, ranging from passive house, high-rise multifamily-food service, fitness centers, education and commercial office buildings. Throughout his career as EP Engineering, he has also held the position of associate principal and partner; in his new role, he will continue to cultivate positive relationships with clients and team members.
“Chris Burgess shares a deeply engrained dedication to the mastery of his craft and provides an example that all of our team members can aspire to emulate,” said Evan Parganos, founding partner, EP Engineering. “Throughout his tenure here at EP Engineering, he has demonstrated on numerous occasions that he is willing and able to take his extensive MEP knowledge and use it to identify innovative solutions across projects that span many asset types.”
