Schwartz Sladkus Reich Greenberg Atlas LLP has added Turek Roth Grossman LLP to the firm effective October 17, 2022. Turek Roth Grossman, a real estate, business and litigation firm based in New York, will now practice under the name Schwartz Sladkus Reich Greenberg Atlas LLP.
The new partners, Allen M. Turek, Jeremy S. Roth, Jason A. Grossman and Gaddi Goren, as well as associate Jeffrey Gibilaro will operate out of SSRGA’s headquarters at 444 Madison Ave.
Turek, a partner in SSRGA’s real estate practice, has practiced in all areas of real estate law with a concentration in cooperatives and condominiums. He has significant experience representing sponsors of cooperative/condominium conversions and representing boards of cooperatives and condominiums. He also represents clients in connection with timeshares, shopping center syndications, hotels, acquisitions and sales, loan workouts, new construction development, construction issues, foreclosures and the rehabilitation of troubled cooperatives and condominiums.
Roth, a partner in SSRGA’s real estate practice, handles all types of commercial real estate transactions, including the purchase and sale of commercial properties throughout the United States, and negotiations with lenders on the financing of these transactions. In addition to his commercial work, he regularly handles residential closings involving cooperative apartments and condominium units as well as single- and multi-family home closings.
Grossman, a partner in SSRGA’s real estate and litigation practices, is a litigator and business advisor with over 25 years of experience resolving complex commercial and real estate disputes at both the trial and appellate court levels. A master at civil procedure, Jason is recognized for devising innovative solutions to all phases of He represents banks, developers, cooperatives, condominiums and commercial landlords/tenants in real estate matters, and counsels individual and corporate clients, including Fortune 500 companies, insurance carriers, service providers, hospitality groups, and tech startups in a wide variety of commercial matters. Grossman also currently serves as outsourced General Counsel to several boards, companies, and other organizations.
Goren, a partner in SSRGA’s real estate and litigation practices, has significant experience litigating, arbitrating and mediating commercial/business/real estate/employment disputes throughout New York City and Long Island. Goren also has an active appellate practice and has been involved with complex appeals before the First Department and Second Department. He also negotiates contracts on behalf of his clients, which include contractors, landlords and tenants (both commercial and residential), shareholders/unit owners in cooperatives/condominiums, medical professionals, real estate developers, cooperative and condominium boards, managing agents, insurance brokerage firms, tech startups, local businesses, and an upscale hotel located on Long Island.
Gibilaro is an associate in SSRGA’s transactional department. Jeff represents clients in connection with the acquisition and sale of residential and commercial properties with a focus on cooperative and condominium apartments. His practice includes counseling borrowers in real estate financing transactions and assisting with commercial refinances. In addition, Jeff counsels transfer agents and acts as a transfer agent for numerous cooperative apartment corporations. Jeff also advises the firm’s cooperative and condominium board members on issues of meeting protocols and the drafting of corporate resolutions and governing documents.
