EP Engineering Promotes Rocchio to Principal

EP Engineering has promoted John Rocchio from an associate to principal.

Since joining the firm in 2018, Rocchio has served as senior plumbing and fire protection engineer and associate on a variety of residential, commercial, hospitality and food service projects. He has also provided expertise on several residential projects, including 441 West 54th St., 465 Washington St. and the Peninsula development in the Bronx.

“John has lent his expertise by assisting the firm with a variety of projects, such as the renovations of the Battery Maritime Building at 10 South Street, the Torch & Crown Brewing Company in SoHo, and the Soka Gakkai Buddhist Center in Long Island City,” said Giovanni E. Meléndez, partner, EP Engineering.

A licensed professional engineer, Rocchio is skilled in CAD and BIM software and knowledgeable in local building codes. He graduated cum laude from Binghamton University in 2012, with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering.
