The Corcoran Group, New York City’s top residential real estate brokerage firm, recently announced that top broker and Palm Beach market expert Shelly Newman, has joined the firm. Announcement of the move was made by Pamela Liebman, Corcoran’s President and CEO.
Newman, one of RealTrends Top 1.5% Producers Nationwide for 2022 and 2023, is now affiliated with Corcoran’s Palm Beach office. Most recently, she was at William Raveis Real Estate, where she was one of their top producers in South Florida. Through her experience in business, project management, and commercial real estate sales, Newman honed the negotiating skills that have made her the indefatigable agent she is today. Known to be her client’s biggest champion, Newman is also there to support every aspect of buying a home, including sharing her keen eye for interior design.
No one knows drive and determination like Newman, who worked tirelessly to become a professional figure skater in her youth. The work ethic she built through the endless hours of training has led to incredible success on and off the ice. Shelly’s expertise runs the gamut from land sales to oceanfront, waterfront, and Intracoastal properties, but no matter where her clients call home, she bases her success on their happiness at the end of a deal. Though Newman was born in the Midwest, she has a firm grasp on the local lifestyle and local knowledge of the area, as she has family roots in Palm Beach extending back 50 years; her aunt once owned Southways, one of the most iconic houses on the island.
