Brokers Expect Transactions to Increase in 2022, Survey Said

Commercial real estate brokers and marketers are expressing a positive outlook for the future of the industry, reports the results of the seventh annual DNA of CRE survey. More than seven in 10 (71.8%) of respondents expected the number of their CRE transactions to increase, while 21.6% expected it them to remain at the same level. Just 6.6% expected their volume to drop.

The online survey, conducted January 31 through March 1, saw more nearly 1,200 respondents declare that their business was good and continuing to grow. A vast majority reported the performance of their brokers as “very good” (47.8%, the highest ranking) or good (40.3%) Half (50.5%) of respondents plan on adding staff, with just 14.8% expecting to cut employees.
