Sportswear retailer Lids continues its expansion, signing a long-term lease for 545 Fifth Ave., announced The Moinian Group.
Spread over the ground, mezzanine and lower levels, the 4,872-square-foot space is expected to open in the third quarter of this year.
“Lids is an exciting, well-known sportswear retailer and an excellent addition to our sports-themed tenancy at 545 Fifth Ave.,” said Ted Koltis, executive vice president of commercial leasing for The Moinian Group, who noted that the new Lids space is located next to the NBA Store. “We are proud and excited to continue our collaboration with the Lids organization, which also manages the NBA Store. The synergy created between these two retailers will be dynamic.”
