GFP Real Estate LLC announced three new leases at its 594 Broadway totaling 15,043 square feet.
Cyber security firm WithSecure signed a three-year lease for 6,300 square feet, extending its existing lease on the 12th floor. With a presence in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific, WithSecure will continue to use its New York space for executive offices to serve its clients locally and nationally. Donna Vogel, senior managing director of landlord GFP Real Estate, represented GFP in the direct transaction.
Vogel also represented GFP in the following transactions. EVE Energy Ventures, d.b.a. Xeal Energy, a cleantech company that enables electric vehicles (EV), chargers and the grid to interact through its technology and services platform, signed a two-year lease for 5,332 square feet on the eighth floor. The company’s clients include Related, Greystar and Align Residential and Lincoln Property Group, among others. Ron Kaspi of Stone-Miller represented the tenant, Xeal Energy.
McIntosh Group, a holding company that specializes in high quality audio equipment and owns the brands McIntosh, Sonus Faber and Sumiko, signed a one-year lease for 3,411 square feet of office space on the 3rd floor. Jason Majlessi of Venture Commercial represented the tenant.
“Tech and entertainment-related firms like WithSecure, McIntosh Group and EVE Energy Ventures firms continue to seek out quality space with a certain level of cool factor to them,” Vogel said. “594 Broadway offers just that — a great location in SoHo with exposed brick, oversized windows and soaring ceilings located among along one of New York’s prime retail corridors.”
