Catch Air Takes 14,000SF at Jersey City Retail Property

Children’s indoor playground Catch Air is coming to Twin City Shopping Center  in Jersey City, New Jersey, announced Levin Management Corporation (LMC). The 14,000-square-foot Hudson County location marks the brand’s third indoor play center in the state, joining existing facilities in Paramus and Hasbrouck Heights.

Twin City Shopping Center is a 95,000-square-foot, grocery-anchored retail property located at the intersection of Garfield Avenue/Broadway and 53rd Street. The firm’s E.J. Moawad, senior leasing representative, negotiated the Catch Air lease transaction.

Geared toward youngsters ages 12 and under, Catch Air offers fun, safe and interactive activities including laser shows, dance parties, climbing structures, open play areas and more. Centers also host birthday parties, field trips, group outings and fundraising events. Catch Air currently has play centers in four states.

“Catch Air is a family-centric concept that represents an exciting new element for Twin City Shopping Center,” said Moawad, who noted the property’s excellent visibility in a dynamic submarket was key in securing the commitment. “This entertainment-oriented destination will be an excellent draw for the property and a wonderful community amenity for families with younger children.”

Catch Air joins a tenant mix that includes Aqui Market, Retro Fitness, Wendy’s, Taco Bell, Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen, Dunkin’, T-Mobile and Snap Back by Hook and Reel (coming soon), along with typical neighborhood retail and service providers.
