Multi-disciplinary architecture and design firm MBH Architects has named Jason Dries-Daffner as chief operating officer. Dries-Daffner will guide and implement a strategic vision to deliver design excellence and world-class client services across market sectors. Working closely with personnel supporting design projects and the firm’s business framework, he will drive innovation, collaboration and efficiency to ensure teams have the technology, methodology and educational programs necessary to achieve peak performance on behalf of the companies and brands that MBH serves.
“Having grown to include five offices with staff collaborating on projects around the world, a leadership role dedicated to innovating the way that we deliver high quality projects to clients was a natural next step for MBH,” says John McNulty, CEO and founding principal. “We look forward to the expertise Jason will bring to our clients and our practice. His experience as both an architect and an operational leader will foster an inspired and practical approach to problem-solving that will benefit our staff as individuals, our teams and our firm as a whole.”
After working as an architect across multi-disciplinary environments for more than 25 years, Dries-Daffner is inspired by the transformative nature of design. He strives to upgrade and create spaces that didn’t previously exist and to make the world a better place, MBH said. His built projects span eight countries across Central America, North America and Asia. He is a licensed architect, a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Urban Land Institute, and serves as an Advisory Board member for U.C. Berkeley’s Berkeley Real Estate Alumni Association (BREAA).
