Summit Health has signed a seven-year, 20,826-square-foot lease at 1345 Avenue of the Americas, announced building owner/manager Fisher Brothers. The multispecialty medical practice, an existing subtenant already in the building, will partially occupy the eighth floor within the Midtown office tower.

“Throughout this year, we have seen an uptick in activity from tenants seeking newly-renovated office space citywide. This trend is underscored by Summit Health’s commitment to a seven-year lease at 1345 Avenue of the Americas,” said Ken Fisher, partner at Fisher Brothers. “We are proud to offer our valued tenants a best-in-class office experience, driven by our unwavering commitment to their needs and the leading technology, infrastructure and amenities at 1345, which has contributed greatly to our continued leasing success.”

This announcement continues a trend of strong leasing activity across the Fisher Brothers’ commercial portfolio. Last month, Fisher Brothers announced that Brevan Howard, an alternative leading asset manager and current tenant of 1345 Avenue of the Americas, significantly increased their presence in the building from a partial floor tenancy to occupy 83,403 square feet on the 19th and 20th floors. Fisher Brothers also signed a new lease with U.S. Realty Advisors to occupy 8,200 square feet on the 21st floor in early 2023.

Last year, Fisher Brothers completed a $120 million large-scale capital improvement project at 1345 Avenue of the Americas, which included upgrades to the building’s exterior, an artfully designed lobby with upgraded touchless elevators, and a new amenity floor, @Ease1345, featuring a tenant lounge, wellness center and hybrid meeting spaces. In May, Fisher Brothers unveiled a newly installed public artwork at the building, bringing a large-scale experiential art installation to Midtown Manhattan.

Marc Packman, head of leasing, Clark Briffel, senior director of leasing, Charles P. Laginestra, director of leasing, and Josh Fisher, assistant director of leasing at Fisher Brothers led negotiations for Fisher Brothers. Summit Health was represented by Brian Given and Sheena Gohil from Colliers. Howard Fiddle, Peter Turchin, William Iacovelli, Anthony Dattoma and Ben Joseph of CBRE also worked with Fisher Brothers to secure the deal.
