Ireland House, the representative office of the Government of Ireland in New York, has signed a 43,108-square-foot, long-term lease to occupy the 17th floor in Tishman Speyer’s 200 Park Avenue, also known as the MetLife Building.
Ireland House consists of the Irish Consulate General together with Ireland’s trade, tourism and investment agencies, as well as the Irish Food Board, the Ireland Funds and CIE Tours. As well as the Consulate in New York, the Government of Ireland’s diplomatic mission network in the United States comprises consulates in Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami and San Francisco, together with the Embassy in Washington D.C.
The Consulate General of Ireland New York was represented by a Savills team that included David Goldstein, president, Tri-State; Jim Wenk, vice chairman; Sam Mann, associate director; Allison Buck, assistant director and Savills New York Consulting Group. Tishman Speyer was represented in-house by Megan Sheehan, Gus Field and Sam Brodsky.
The Consulate General of Ireland New York will officially relocate from its current location at 345 Park Ave. to 200 Park Ave. in 2024.
