Boutique law firm Romer Debbas LLP has named firm partners Stephen W. Allen, Michael R. Feldman, and Jonathan Helfer co-managers of the residential real estate department. New York City’s largest dedicated residential real estate practice, the department encompasses 20 professionals who handle all aspects of residential matters many of which are for high-profile clients across finance, business, sports and entertainment.

Allen has been practicing in the field of real estate for over 20 years, helping clients navigate often complicated purchase and sale transactions with proven experience and invaluable insights. He is licensed in New York and Connecticut and is also certified by the New York Department of State to teach continuing education courses to residential real estate agents.

Feldman concentrates his practice on representing buyers, sellers and lending institutions in residential and commercial real estate transactions and is well versed in the areas of contract negotiation and due diligence. Upon graduation he initially focused his practice on civil litigation and criminal defense and shifted to transactional real estate after moving to New York in 2010.

Helfer has handled and supervised thousands of transactions, from the most basic to the most complex residential and commercial deals over the past 15-plus years. Recognized among clients, brokers, and colleagues for his professionalism and expertise, Helfer’s commitment extends to training and industry engagement through regularly speaking at numerous brokerage offices and leading continuing education classes.
