AmTrust RE has completed a 16,375-square-foot lease transaction with law firm Pollack Pollack Isaac & DeCicco LLP at 250 Broadway, a 648,000-square-foot office property in Lower Manhattan.
Pollack Pollack Isaac & DeCicco LLP is an established, full-service law firm that represents clients on an international scale, in practice areas spanning personal injury, immigration, real estate, employment law and more.
“Manhattan’s private business sector is experiencing a surge in employees returning to the office full-time, and this leasing activity at 250 Broadway is the latest indicator of this movement,” said Jonathan Bennett, president of AmTrust RE. “As employers look to increase office attendance from employees, we’re seeing a ‘flight to quality’ take place. Companies are setting their sights on high-quality, updated, and highly-amenitized properties, and the major upgrades we’re making to the lobby are a reflection of AmTrust’s efforts to meet the desires of our tenants.”
AmTrust RE will soon unveil a remodeled lobby with significant improvements including modern finishes and an expanded floor area that will facilitate increased foot traffic. The lobby will also feature a brand-new reception desk, turnstiles, and recessed ceiling lighting. GKV Architects spearheaded the lobby’s refreshed upscale design, and Signature Construction served as the general contractor.
AmTrust RE was represented by Anne Holker, managing director of leasing and acquisitions, and Charles Borrok, Jonathan Fales, Frank Cento, Jonathan Fein and Michelle Mean of Cushman & Wakefield. The tenant was represented by Newmark’s Executive Managing Director Eric Zemachson.
