Patis Bakery will unveil two dining concepts — a full-service sit-down restaurant and a cafe/upscale bakery — at 203 Jay St. in fall 2023, announced property owner AmTrust RE.

The 72,000-square-foot mixed-use property in Brooklyn is a boutique, eight-story property consisting of office space, a gym, several private terraces and floor-to-ceiling windows. The building is physically connected to The Amberly, AmTrust RE’s 31-story, 270-unit luxury rental property.

“Now that we’re in a post-COVID world, it’s encouraging to see expansion activity underway in New York City and beyond — we’ve signed several office leases over the past few months, and 203 Jay’s allure as an office property will only increase as a result of these new food and beverage options,” said Jonathan Bennett, president of AmTrust RE. “Patis has quickly become one of the city’s most chic dining establishments, and we’re confident that these new eateries will be embraced by our commercial and residential tenants and the surrounding community.”

Helmed by CEO Benny Azizov, Patis was founded in 2017, offering French-American pastries and kosher bakery offerings. Upon full build-out of the 203 Jay Street stores — Patis’ 17th location — the new high-end version of Patis will feature a sit-down restaurant and full-service bar. The cafe will offer casual dining, coffee and other light food and grab-and-go items. Patis was represented by brokerage and advisory firm Masonre’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer David Abrams and Director Jeff Jacobson. AmTrust RE was represented in-house by Anne Holker, managing director, leasing and acquisitions.

“Our new location at 203 Jay St. presents an exciting opportunity to bring our sumptuous food and desserts to north Brooklyn,” Azizov said. “This space offers the best of both worlds for us, with its curb appeal and ideal location in a vibrant neighborhood, plus immediate access to a robust customer base. We look forward to opening our doors to everyone in the fall.”
