Neufeld Scheck Brustin Hoffmann & Freudenberger LLP (NSBHF), a civil rights law firm founded by trial lawyers Barry Scheck, Peter Neufeld and the late Johnnie L. Cochran Jr., signed a 13-year lease for 12,914 square feet on the eighth floor of 200 Varick Street in Hudson Square.
NSBHF, which represents “people who have experienced the nightmare of being wrongfully convicted, assaulted and mistreated at the hands of the law,” will relocate in the coming months from its current location in Tribeca. The firm’s new location, which includes an expansive terrace and oversized windows, will be used for its executive, general and administrative offices.
Robert Silver, Brittany Silver, Anthony Sciacca and Jamie Jacobs of Newmark, and Jeffrey Gural and Rhonda Singer of GFP Real Estate represented the landlord, 200 Varick Street DE LHC LLC, in the transaction; Josh Gosin, Todd Hershman and Matthew Shreiner of Newmark represented the tenant, NSBHF.
