Carlisle Companies Incorporated, a supplier of building envelope products and solutions, announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Texas-based expanded polystyrene insulation manufacturer ThermaFoam.
Founded in 1978 and located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, ThermaFoam serves the commercial, residential and infrastructure construction markets through both the ThermaFoam and PowerFoam brands.
“The acquisition of ThermaFoam builds on our recently completed acquisition of Plasti-Fab, and leverages the vertically integrated expanded polystyrene capabilities of our EPS business while adding scale, supporting retail channel growth, and providing valuable geographic coverage in Texas and the South Central United States,” said Chris Koch, Carlisle chair, president and CEO.
The acquisition is expected to close in the first quarter of 2025.
