Co-developers Charney Companies and Tavros announced the launch of leasing at Nevins Landing South, the third project to open on Gowanus Wharf’s expansive campus.

Located at 340 Nevins Street, the 22-story building is designed by Fogarty Finger with landscape design from Field Operations and will deliver 320 residential units to the neighborhood, with 80 homes reserved for permanently affordable housing.

The Gowanus Wharf campus debuted in January 2025 with Union Channel at 240 Third Avenue and the campus’s second development, Douglass Port, recently launched leasing. Gowanus Wharf will ultimately add more than 2,200 new homes to the community.

“It’s exciting to launch multiple residences at Gowanus Wharf, each one with different designs and amenities” said Sam Charney, principal at Charney Companies. “Nevins Landing South offers a unique blend of luxury amenities and community focus and we are proud to provide another exceptional building for residents to enjoy as the neighborhood evolves.”

Nevins Landing is comprised of two buildings, Nevins Landing South and Nevins Landing North. Nevins Landing North is expected to launch later this year. Once both buildings are open, they will operate as one and residents will enjoy a comprehensive amenity package across both buildings. Nevins Landing South features a spa, premiere fitness center, pool, terrace lounge, co-working suite, entertainment lounge, game lounge, golf simulator and mini golf. Residents can also opt in to an all-access pass to utilize amenities across all buildings in Gowanus Wharf.

“Gowanus is an especially appealing neighborhood to live in, and we are delighted with the reception all of our buildings have received,” said Nicholas Silvers, founding partner of Tavros. “With Nevins Landing South opening, the fuller picture we imagined with cross-building amenity sharing and relationship building is coming to life in a very exciting way. This addition is a real milestone for us and for the greater neighborhood.”

The property sits in the heart of Gowanus, a neighborhood long defined by staples like Public Records and Threes Brewing, alongside leading arts organizations Arts Gowanus, Powerhouse Arts, and Pioneer Works. Currently undergoing a major resurgence, new retail and cultural spaces like Liar Liar and the upcoming Paulie Gee’s outpost are helping shape its next chapter. Located two blocks from the Union Street subway station with access to Lower Manhattan, Times Square and Union Square all within 35 minutes, the property is also close to public parks, schools, restaurants and museums such as the New York Transit Museum and the Brooklyn Museum.

Exclusive leasing is conducted by Charney Brokerage, led by Ian Smith, Jini Van Maarseveen, Stephanie Gastmann, Kristina Skala and Tyler Williams. Property management for Nevins Landing South will be handled in-house by Charney Management. A Community Manager will lead the hospitality-forward programming for all of the Gowanus Wharf properties. Prices start at $3,250 for studios and $9,250 for three-bedroom apartments.
