Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices (BHHS) New York, New England and Westchester Properties has named Meryl Freedman vice president of leadership development, helping to continue further the organization’s goal to support and develop leadership talent.
A 25-year veteran of both the industry and organization, Freedman will be working with BHHS’ office managers, providing weekly coaching sessions and overseeing monthly leader meetings. She will be charged with identifying agents and staff for participation in the Leadership Development Academy, a national program designed to nurture and develop the leadership talents within the company. The monthly series is designed to present an overview of the leadership culture, and to introduce a variety of management tools and systems available to aspiring leaders.
Freedman began her career at Prudential Connecticut Realty, which became Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices six years ago. She has held several leadership roles within the organization including Regional Vice President of the Northeast Region and, recently, Office Leader in the West Hartford office. In this role, she collaborated with top-producing agents and furthered the office’s growth, making it recipient of the Top Listing Office and Top Closed Units Office Award for the past three years.
