The Morganti Group Inc., a 104-year-old construction company, has named Thamer Rushaidat president and chief executive officer. The move is part of the company’s succession plan, which was confirmed by Morganti’s board of directors in January 2019.
“My mission will be to bridge the gap between Morganti’s past, present and future by measuring the successes of the past and learning from its history,” Rushaidat said. “Key to this mission is Morganti’s foundation of experienced, talented construction industry professionals. Empowered and equipped with cutting-edge technologies, this team will fuel the company’s growth and success, while adhering to the highest standards of workmanship with honesty, integrity and expertise.”
Rushaidat joined Morganti in 1995, and has risen through the ranks of the firm and its previous parent company Consolidated Contractors Group S.A.L. (CCC) from site engineer and project manager to group manager, then deputy CEO/CFO and, now, to president and CEO. He is certified as a project management professional (PMP), a LEED Green Associate, a professional architect in Project Management and a chief of projects management (Consultant Grade A).
His experience includes the management of large-scale projects, including water and wastewater treatment plants, systems and power stations, hospitals, hotels and high-rise residential projects, working in 10 different countries across four different continents.
“Along the way,” he said, “I learned a very valuable lesson: The road to success and client satisfaction is grounded in embracing our history and encouraging diversity, creativity and critical thinking in our workforce.”
