Barry P. Weaver has been named executive vice president of operations at Millennia Housing Management Ltd. (MHM). Weaver will initially assume responsibility for approximately 100 apartment developments; by year-end, he will oversee operations for the entire portfolio of more than 30,000 apartments in 26 states.
A 25-year industry veteran, Weaver has managed real estate portfolios with diverse assets ranging from market-rate, office and retail to multifamily affordable housing developed or preserved through the following programs: United States Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Section 202, HUD Section 236, HUD Section 221(d)(3), Bond, HOME Investment Partnerships Program, Hope VI, Low-Income Housing Tax Credit, Rural Development, Congregate Care, Assisted Living, Annual Contribution Contract and Rental Assistance Demonstration.

Weaver earned a Master of Public Administration from the University of Colorado in Denver, Colorado, a Bachelor of Arts in Social Welfare and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Humboldt State University in Arcata, California.
