Wilson Promoted to Oversee Brown Harris Stevens Harlem, Riverdale Offices

Sandra Wilson

Brown Harris Stevens has promoted Sandra Wilson, Halstead’s longtime executive director of sales in Harlem, to additionally oversee the firm’s Riverdale office. Brown Harris Stevens and Halstead are currently restructuring to operate as one  united Brown Harris Stevens brand.

Before  joining Halstead in 2013, Wilson  worked for 10 years at  Corcoran, managing their Harlem location for many of those years. She also worked for a boutique agency in Westchester where she became an expert in the Riverdale market.

“I am very excited to support agents in both Harlem and Riverdale — two communities I know and love — during this time of growth for Brown Harris Stevens,” Wilson said. “As the real estate industry reopens in New York City, I look forward to working with [Brown Harris Stevens CEO] Bess [Freedman] and my fellow BHS sales directors to create a stronger company for the post-pandemic era.”

Prior entering the real estate business, Wilson worked in the travel industry, serving with American Express for 25 years. She led a team of 25 people in creating, negotiating contracts for, and managing all Travel Related Programs for the Platinum  and Centurion cards. Her team was also responsible for the Gold Card Membership Rewards Travel Programs.

Including Halstead, the expanded Brown Harris Stevens brand includes 2,500 agents across the New York tri-state area and South Florida. Combined, the firms transacted more than $9 billion in sales in 2019.
