Avison Young New York’s Project Management group has announced several promotions and staff changes. Robb Davidson has been promoted to director of Project Management, after serving as a senior manager in the group since 2016. He began his career at Avison Young, managing all projects at 211 East 43rd Street. Most recently, Davidson has been overseeing project management work for LinkedIn, which awarded Avison Young two additional floors of work in addition to a full restack at Empire State Building totaling over 500,000 rentable square feet, as well as an additional project for the company in the Washington D.C. market.

Emely Grisanty has been named to a newly created position, senior project manager-Technology Solutions, PjM Americas. Since joining Avison Young in 2019, Grisanty has helped the New York project management team improve their deliverables to clients by building a customized solution in SmartSheet, all while simultaneously managing client projects. Fredy Varughese has been promoted to project manager. Varughese joined Avison Young in August 2018 as an Assistant Project Manager and has worked on several high-profile projects, including LinkedIn, Compass and Comcast.
Poonam Sharma has joined Avison Young as a Project Manager in New York. Sharma brings more than eight years of experience in the project management and construction industries. Prior to joining Avison Young, Sharma was a project manager for Knotel. Previously, she was the assistant project manager for Icon Interiors, where she was responsible for the fit-outs of various interiors projects. Sharma earned her undergraduate degree in Architecture and Interior Design from Nagpur University in India and achieved her Master of Science in construction management from Stevens Institute of Technology.
