Brown Harris Stevens Development Marketing (BHSDM) recently announced that Jean Clement has joined the team as sales director, managing on-site sales at The Leyton, where sales have just begun for a collection of 38 one- to four-bedroom residences at 1059 Third Avenue on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
An experienced and well-respected professional, Clement joins BHSDM after eight years with Toll Brothers, where she was director of sales, leading sales and marketing for four ground-up luxury developments totaling over $995 million in sell-outs. These included 91 Leonard, 100 Barrow, The Sutton, and 160 East 22nd Street. Prior to her role at Toll Brothers, she was a senior vice president at Bellmarc Real Estate, where she spent nine years and specialized in condominium and cooperative sales transactions in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
“Jean is an incredibly talented, approachable, and experienced sales director with a wealth of Manhattan new development sales experience that will expand and enrich our team,” said Stephen Kliegerman, president of BHSDM. “She is a highly regarded salesperson with strong relationships with the New York brokerage community. We are excited for Jean to lead on-site sales at The Leyton as we launch another marquee Manhattan project.”
Clement is also an owner and partner in four restaurants and bars. She owns Clem’s and The Richardson in Williamsburg, Brooklyn; as well as Duke’s and Babo in Nashville, Tennessee.
“I’m thrilled to join Brown Harris Stevens Development Marketing and to represent the company in selling one of the most beautifully executed high-end projects in New York City,” said Clement. “In selling luxury real estate for many years, I have come to respect this team’s unrivaled market knowledge, innovative thinking, and true professionalism, and am excited to now be working with them.”
