This is an iconic new address at the corner of 6th Avenue and 14th Street, the intersection of Chelsea and Greenwich Village. Nearly half of the spectacular residences feature double-height living spaces with spacious terraces that enable indoor/outdoor living and multifaceted views.
Architect Eran Chen, Founding Principal and Executive Director of ODA, designed this one-of-a-kind façade with a high-end unitized interlocking curtain wall of 18 ft panels of glass and aluminum to maximize natural light, fresh air and city views. Installing the double-height glass panels required the largest hoist in operation in New York City at the time. Luxurious interiors were appointed by Whitehall Interiors.
Sitting atop the ground-floor retail space is a suite of luxurious amenities, including a state-of-the-art fitness center, lush courtyard, and residents-only lounge. A furnished roof deck with a sprawling outdoor kitchen is the perfect setting for entertaining. One- to four-bedroom homes are priced from $1.25 million.
101 West 14th is an example of the fractal geometry that has come to represent much of ODA’s work. The idea of the repetition of patterns, in the same way that are seen in nature, is an equation that has a soothing effect on the mind. This building transforms a crucial corner of NYC between the High Line and Union Square.
