Adam America Real Estate and Northlink Capital, developers of Era, a boutique condo development with a striking cantilever structure located at 251 West 91st Street on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, recently marked an important construction milestone when the swimming pool was hoisted 20 stories in the air and placed on the building’s rooftop. Era’s outdoor swimming pool is slated to be the only open-air rooftop pool in a condo building on the Upper West Side.
Era’s pool was carefully lifted to the roof in four different sections by a Liebherr LTM 1350 crane. Each section of the pool was set in place, with the 45-foot-long pool revealing its final shape after more than four hours of work. Era’s construction topped out in May, and the building is anticipated to be completed by spring of 2022.
Era is one of only a select few new developments in NYC offering luxury buyers access to the ultimate city amenity – a rooftop pool. In addition to the pool with recreational and lounge areas, Era’s amenities include a 24-hour concierge with a grand double-height lobby and a stone clad curved staircase; fitness center and yoga studio; lounge; children’s playroom; youth room for gaming; music room; bike room; live-in superintendent; and pet grooming station. Private storage units are available for purchase.
Designed by ODA, Era features 57 residences for sale consisting of two- to five-bedroom homes, with select homes offering private outdoor terraces. Sales launched last month, with asking prices starting at approximately $2.625 million for a two-bedroom to $13.5 million for a five-bedroom home and are being handled by Reuveni Real Estate.
