Two Bridges’ 275 South Street Completes Full-Scale Makeover, Adds Amenities

275 South Street

Nelson Management Group, through its investment firm Global One Investments, and L+M Development Partners today announced the completion of its rooftop deck, state-of-the-art fitness center, common areas, lobby, elevators and a ground-floor live/work lounge at their 275 South apartment tower, located on 275 South Street in Two Bridges.

The 19-story, 256-unit mixed-income property’s full-scale makeover was announced in early 2017 after the firms tapped ORE Design + Technology to lead a complete capital improvements program. Residents can now enjoy a landscaped rooftop deck overlooking the East River with expansive views of Downtown Brooklyn and the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges. In celebration of the completion of the rooftop, MADSTEEZ, a multi-faceted, California-based artist, created a vivid mural on the deck that can be seen from as far as the Brooklyn side of the East River, as well as from the Manhattan Bridge.

The completed fitness center and live/work lounge on the ground floor boasts floor-to-ceiling windows that provide ample natural light into the building and enable residents to look out onto the surrounding neighborhood and waterfront. The building’s lobby, elevators, laundry room and hallways have also been completely redesigned and residents now have access to a bicycle storage room.

“The newest renovations to 275 South continue to contribute to the improved quality of life for our residents,” said Robert Nelson, President of Nelson Management Group and Principal of Global One Investments. “It’s important to us that we maintain the property’s affordability, yet still offer our residents upgraded amenities in an exciting and sought after location.”

275 South is situated minutes from the Lower East Side, the East River Esplanade, with easy access to the East Broadway F train subway station and many dining and entertainment hot spots.
