Keith Copley Returns to Douglas Elliman on Eklund|Gomes Team

Douglas Elliman Real Estate, the largest brokerage in the New York Metropolitan area and the second largest independent residential real estate brokerage in the United States by sales volume, is pleased to announce that Keith Copley has returned to Douglas Elliman. Copley is returning to Elliman, where he had worked from 2014 – 2017 and will join the top-producing Eklund | Gomes Team. Copley is part of the Eklund | Gomes’ new recruitment since opening the 10,000 square foot Paris Forino designed office with its brand new 6,000 square feet of space in the lower level, which has now been fully built out.

Copley’s specialty is New York City’s luxury real estate market, and he has broken records in residential, commercial and townhouse sales. Sales have included a $31 million sale at 21 West 10th Street, an $18 million sale at 155 West 11th Street and multi-million sales at five townhouses on Manhattan’s St. Luke’s Place. The majority of his business over the 30 years he’s been in the industry has been done in SoHo where he’s sold in almost every major building, including 158 Mercer, 76 Crosby, 459 W Broadway and 109 Greene Street.

“Keith and his team are a perfect fit for us with his many $20 million-plus townhouses and village penthouses. He has a real client following that trusts him and we have been eying him for years. I can’t wait to see him soar to new heights with us,” said Fredrik Eklund, one half of the eponymous Eklund | Gomes Team. “We love Keith and we’re so happy that he’ll be working with us. We are excited to have him join as one of our new recruits and hope to hire a few more top agents for our super team,” added John Gomes.

Through his work, Copley has forged strong relationships with top developers, architects, attorneys and designers and these relationships have proven helpful in his servicing of clients. His knowledge of the New York City marketplace is deep and he is well-versed in the city’s shifts and market trends, evolving neighborhoods and architecture. Having lived in Soho, Tribeca, the Upper East and West Sides, as well as the West Village, Copley has a great understanding of New York City’s different communities and this serves him well in his role as broker.

“I couldn’t be happier than to be joining this esteemed team at Elliman,” said Copley.  “I look forward to the great success that I know we will share in upcoming months and years.”
