Fisher Brothers partner Ken Fisher and managing director of the Commercial Portfolio Crystal Fisher hosted more than 250 of New York City’s top commercial brokers for the firm’s Power Play event at Park Avenue Plaza, its iconic Plaza District tower. Taking place on the newly unveiled marketing floor, attendees had the unprecedented opportunity to see the first vacant floor at the 1.2 million-square-foot tower since its construction in 1981.

Fisher Brothers’ in-house leasing team, in conjunction with exclusive leasing agent CBRE, is marketing Park Avenue Plaza’s availability. The entire 30,345-square-foot 18th floor is currently available for lease. In addition, the 30,345-square-foot 30th floor will be available in the third quarter of 2020, followed by a large block of 376,245 square feet in 2023.

Power Play, an energizing mid-day event, featured a gourmet lunch, raffles with exclusive prizes and DJ-infused ping pong that pitted broker against broker, as well as “Play the Pro” matches where attendees could test their skills against SPiN New York co-founder and ping pong pro Wally Green and international ping pong pro Kevin Wang.

Fisher Brothers’ Managing Director and Head of Leasing Marc S. Packman, who served as the event’s emcee, highlighted the tower’s stylish design, expansive column-free floorplates, dramatic views of Park Avenue and prestigious Plaza District location.

“Park Avenue Plaza has long been the preferred destination for the city’s top companies, which are drawn to its efficient workspaces and the exceptional service that comes with being a Fisher Brothers tenant,” said Packman. “Our recent upgrades at Park Avenue Plaza focused on enhancing sustainability, wellness and the daily experiences of our tenants.”

Guided by a long-term investment strategy, Fisher Brothers has reimagined Park Avenue Plaza with an emphasis on green design and efficiency, which earned the tower LEED Platinum certification. The tower’s 28,000-square-foot lobby underwent a complete renovation and redesign in 2016 with an emphasis on collaborative spaces and biophilic design featuring a moss-covered wall, bamboo trees and oversized windows that flood the public arcade with natural light.

Located at 55 East 52nd Street, the 45-story tower features a stately green glass facade, 12 corner offices per floor, column-free 45-foot interior spans, state-of-the-art security and a glass-walled atrium lobby with a waterfall-side café and European-style luxury retail arcades.

In September, Fisher Brothers signed an agreement with General Atlantic to expand the global growth equity firm’s headquarters to encompass three full floors at Park Avenue Plaza. Last year, Fisher Brothers signed similar headquarters expansion agreements with Evercore and Duff & Phelps, two blue-chip advisory firms. Other notable companies on the tower’s tenant roster include Court Square Capital Partners, Intercontinental Exchange and Morgan Stanley.
