Luxury Tribeca condo 108 Leonard has upgraded its look. Residence 8F was designed by Jeffrey Beers International and residences 8C, 8I and 9G were designed by Jarvis Wong.
As Jarvis describes it, 108 Leonard presented the perfect canvas for his design asthetic, a classical, McKim, Meade & White building in a neighborhood with multi-cultural influences. As a trained architect with a degree from Columbia University, Jarvis recounted carrying a well-worn text on Mckim, Meade & White throughout his training. Jarvis says being offered the opportunity to design the model residences at 108 Leonard was a dream come true. As someone who describes as a contextualist, the buildings Tribeca location and its proximity to China Town served as Jarvis’s inspiration. This influence can be seen throughout the models which fuse 1970’s pieces with asian influences.
