Global engineering firm Syska Hennessy has appointed Rich Nowak national director of business development and associate vice president. Based at Syska’s New York City headquarters, Nowak will oversee the growth of multiple practices and services across the U.S.
Nowak, a sales veteran who specializes in smart building technologies, building performance optimization, and systems integration, joins Syska following a 22-year tenure at Siemens, where he served most recently as segment head, smart buildings and building automation, North America.
“Rich has an in-depth knowledge of the newest advances in engineering,” said senior principal John Passanante. “Our clients will appreciate his insight, as will his colleagues.”
A resident of Madison, New Jersey, Nowak holds an MBA in MIS and finance and a Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
