The annual Garment District Arts Festival, hosted this year by ZAZ10TS, is happening Thursday, October 17 through Saturday, October 19.
“The Garment District is home to a host of arts and cultural experiences that contribute to our neighborhood’s vibrant, dynamic character, and our Arts Festival is a celebration of this exceptional creative community,” said Barbara A. Blair, president of the Garment District Alliance. “We are proud to partner with ZAZ10TS to present an exciting line-up of programs during our 16th annual celebration.”
ZAZ10TS, an ongoing cultural initiative that integrates art into the office buildings at 10 Times Square (1441 Broadway) and 1410 Broadway, is partnering with the Garment District Alliance to host the festival’s kick-off reception. It will also present a series of art and photography exhibitions and tours as well as music and theatrical performances as part of the festival.
“Integrating art and cultural experiences into the workplace environment helps to enrich one’s surroundings,” said Tzili Charney, founder of ZAZ10TS. “ZAZ10TS is dedicated to featuring art in its buildings throughout the year and during special events, such as the Garment District Arts Festival.”
