Solo New York Expands Its Re:cycled Collection with New Bags

Solo New York is proud to launch the extension of their Re:cycled Collection. Every bag in the collection is made out of recycled PET bottles and Solo has set the goal to eliminate 40 million plastic bottles from landfills by 2024!

Solo’s sustainability efforts are also broader than the recycled materials being used. All polybags (necessary for keeping moisture out during transport) are soon being replaced with biodegradable and compostable bags made of non-GMO corn starch. The brand is updating all hang tags on its products to be made from 100% recycled materials, which are also recyclable and biodegradable. Additionally Solo’s partnership with the National Forest Foundation is helping offset the company’s carbon footprint and replanting trees across the country. Plus, Solo’s company headquarters is fully powered by a rooftop solar array.
