The New York Construction Alliance (NYCA) is pleased to announce new Executive Director, Kenneth Thomas. Kenneth is NYCA’s first Executive Director since the organization’s inception in January of 2016.
About Kenneth Thomas
Kenneth Thomas has worked as a consultant within the construction and real estate industry for nearly a decade. His areas of expertise focus on government policy and public relations. Kenneth also possesses extensive experience in the private equity world–with a targeted focus on real estate, with over a decade worth of experience as a financial services professional, specializing in cash management. He is also a former chief of staff for a NYS Assembly-member.
Born and raised in New York City, Kenneth attended John Jay College, where he acquired his bachelor’s degree, then went on to Seton Hall University for his master’s degree in strategic communications. He also possesses certifications in financial risk management and corporate compliance & ethics from New York University. Kenneth also can be counted as a member of the Association of Financial Professionals (“AFP”), where he is a Certified Treasury Professional.
Kenneth has been a long-standing advocate for more diversity and transparency within the local construction industry, and prides himself on helping facilitate tangible progress on that end, whether it be through helping to shape public policy, or informing and persuading the relevant stakeholders. Kenneth Thomas currently resides in the borough of the Bronx.
