Cauldwell Wingate is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract from Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC), a Japanese multinational banking and financial services company, to complete a 101,411-SF construction project at One North Lexington Avenue, an office complex in White Plains, New York.
Cauldwell Wingate has been contracted to provide pre-construction services and the build-out of a new office space at this location – which will become a new office hub for SMBC. The interior commercial renovations will also include renovations to offices, amenity spaces, and a data center with a mission critical system.
“Cauldwell Wingate has been Sumitomo’s Construction Manager on various projects since 2003,” said Cauldwell Wingate President & CEO Steve Jureller. “We are excited to continue this relationship and build a modern commercial space that the Sumitomo team will be proud to use every day. Providing construction services for over a century, our firm continues to build on its experience and has developed a positive reputation for working on many of New York’s most iconic buildings.”
Construction is set to begin early 2018 and with a tentative completion date of third quarter in 2018.
