Ursula Burgess, Esq., President-elect, Community Associations Institute (CAI), will be the keynote speaker at this year’s CAI-Long Island Trade Show, which will be held on October 13, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Ms. Burgess will discuss conflicts that typically arise in these communities between and among Board members and residents, and will present proven techniques for resolving such conflicts with a minimum amount of stress and collateral damage.
The 12th Annual CAI-LI Trade Show will take place at the Hilton Long Island/Huntington Hotel, 598 Broadhollow Road (Route 110), Melville, New York. Breakfast, lunch, raffles and giveaways are all included at this event, which is free for board members of condominiums, co-ops and homeowners associations on Long Island.
The trade show will also include seminars on addressing budgeting and financial issues, how to use committees to your advantage, what are self-managed communities, the role of the president, different banking options, the future of community associations, and “Ask the Experts.”
