Benedict Realty Group, a premier real estate investment and property management firm with more than 5,000 rental apartments in the greater New York City region, has announced a deferred rent payment policy for federal employees who live in BRG properties.
BRG tenants who are federal employees, and who are not receiving paychecks due to the government shutdown, are eligible to defer rent payment until the end of the shutdown.
“We understand that this is an extraordinarily challenging time for federal employees,” said Daniel Benedict, President of BRG. “We hope that by deferring rent payments we can relieve some of the financial stress experienced by federal employees residing in our properties.”
Federal employees who reside in BRG properties may contact management to seek deferred payment.
