Douglaston Development announced that after 18 months of leasing at Level, a 554-unit, amenity-filled residential tower located at 2 North 6th Place on Brooklyn’s Williamsburg waterfront, the building is 95% leased following an unusually strong winter leasing season.
During the recent months, a time when most residential towers experience their slowest leasing activity of the year, Level impressively boasted leasing numbers that mirror their peak spring and summer months.
“Level brings an unparalleled quality of living to Williamsburg with its superior views, finishes, layouts and amenities,” said Joshua Young, Director of Market Rate Leasing at Clinton Management, Douglaston’s property management division. “With the building’s vibrant, sought-after waterfront location and the ferry’s North Williamsburg landing at your doorstep, it was no surprise to us how much demand we have seen since our launch. As we move into the spring market, we are confident that we will continue to achieve our absorbtion goals and thrilled to release our townhome-like duplex residences.”
While the majority of the residential tower is occupied, there are three duplex apartments currently available. These units offer tenants a unique opportunity to live in a spacious waterfront unit with outdoor space and views of the East River. The three-bedroom units range from 1,553 square-feet to 1,805 square-feet, with outdoor space ranging from 250 square-feet to 405 square-feet. Additionally, there are three penthouse units available with extra high ceilings and outdoor space.
Level’s 554 units, a mix of studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, are designed to meet the market’s needs. Each apartment features stainless steel appliances, glass cabinetry, smoked walnut flooring and floor-to-ceiling windows with custom solar shades. The bathrooms feature luxurious porcelain tile, marble accents, satin nickel fixtures and custom three-panel medicine cabinets with vanity light.
“We are extremely pleased with how quickly Level was leased up, especially in the wake of the L train news, which brought many clients who had moved out of the area back to us,” said Andrew Barrocas, CEO of MNS.
Residents of Level also enjoy a lobby overlooking a landscaped courtyard and a reflecting pool, an indoor-outdoor pool with sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline, an approximately 4,000-square-foot terrace lounge with a fireplace and barbeque grills, and an expansive club lounge with a demonstrative kitchen. Additionally, amenities include a whirlpool, steam room, fitness center, yoga room, a children’s playroom and a furnished rooftop deck on the 41st floor.
Services include a 24-hour concierge and valet to coordinate dry cleaning, housekeeping and dog walking and in home package delivery. Residents also have access to onsite bicycle storage and there is a parking garage on site.
Level is Douglaston Development’s third project along the Williamsburg waterfront. The property is within walking distance to the neighborhood’s popular dining and nightlife spots, including the East River Park and the iconic Smorgasburg weekend market. The building sits adjacent to the East River Ferry pier and is located close to the MTA’s L train subway stop.
