Pierrepont Celebrates Art

Guests celebrated the impressive roster of all-female artists responsible for the artwork in the brand-new amenity spaces and lobby at The Pierrepont, a new luxury rental building in the heart of Brooklyn Heights. Introduced by Jonathan Rose, president of Jonathan Rose Companies, each artist spoke about their inspiration and their specific pieces in the building.

It was a true celebration of the fabulous art in the amenity spaces and lobby that was specifically chosen to leave a lasting impression on residents. In attendance, there were many of the artists themselves who each spoke about their inspiration and artwork. Coming on the heels of 60% leased in a short three months, many members of Jonathan Rose Companies, including Jonathan Rose himself were present at the event.

The amenity spaces feature artwork commissioned from all female artists, including Anila Quayyum Agha, Athena LaTocha, and Evangeline Gala, in the lobby, the cellar living room and the dining room. Their artwork highlights the colors and feelings of nature, creating sophisticated and calm spaces, leaving the residents feeling the same way. These amenity spaces at The Pierrepont are crafted to feel like an extension of residents’ homes, creating an environment that parallels the architecture of the building and the apartments, which enhances the feeling of entering a private residence.

Developed by Jonathan Rose Companies, The Pierrepont offers 90 generously proportioned one-, two- and three- bedroom residences in the heart of Brooklyn Heights. Located at 146 Pierrepont Street between Clinton and Court, the building is comprised of two 20-story towers connected by a two-story common area centered around a garden and children’s play area. Designed by Marvel Architects, the building is a modern interpretation of the historic Brooklyn Heights neighborhood, with many residences offering expansive views of Manhattan, the East River and downtown Brooklyn.
